There are two types of condoms available at the Orange County Health Department.
Female Condoms are worn by the woman inside her vagina. They can be inserted up to 8 hours before having sex.
Male Condoms are a thin sheath placed over an erect penis to keep sperm from entering a woman’s body. Latex or polyurethane condoms are recommended since they also protect against Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD).
Never use a male and female condom together - the friction could cause one or both to break.
Condoms are available FREE of charge - just walk in and ask.
