Statistics
One third of the world's population is estimated to be infected with the bacteria that causes Tuberculosis (TB).
One person dies of Tuberculosis (TB) every 15 seconds.
Each person infected with Tuberculosis (TB) infects up to 20 other people before he or she is treated for the disease.
When treated properly more than 90 percent of patients can be cured.
Tuberculosis (TB) is the leading cause of death in people with AIDS.
