The Help, Understand, and Guide Me program (HUG-Me) is a family centered care model that provides primary and specialty medical care to HIV infected individuals of all ages and their affected family members. It is dedicated to preventing the transmission of HIV through education and outreach.

The HUG-Me program staff consists of highly qualified and trained Physicians, ARNP's, RN's, Social Workers, Registered Dieticians, Mental Health Counselors, Peer Counselors and other medical and support personnel. The program is unique in that HIV positive individuals are hired whenever possible to meet the needs of the HIV infected, affected, and at-risk populations in the community they serve.

The program complements the services provided by our Immunology Clinic and the is primary source of care for infants, children, youth, women and families infected with or affected by HIV and AIDS in Central Florida. It currently serves residents in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, St Lucie, and Brevard counties and has been very successful in limiting transmission of HIV from pregnant mothers to their unborn child.
