The death rate from Diabetes is extremely high in Orange County compared with the state of Florida.
Orange County has seen sharp increases and declines in the death rate among people with Diabetes in the last several years.
We are currently seeing a rise in deaths among people with Diabetes in Orange County compared with a decline in the state of Florida.
Of adults with Diabetes:
29% have Heart Disease
47% are obese
64% have high blood pressure
59% have high cholesterol
61% are inactive
16 smoke
