print share email

processed meatsProcessed Meat refers to meat that has been processed in some way other than grinding and cutting, such as meat that is seasoned or cured and then cooked, smoked or dried. These are usually found in the deli aisle of your local supermarket.

Processed meats generally lose quality quickly and should be used as soon as possible (before the date on the package).
