Purpose/mission: The
Orange County Health Department Community-Based Mini-Internship
Program will provide to professionals and others with like experience,
a 1-3 day observation to gain an understanding of the duties
and responsibilities of various positions. This rotation is designed
for interested individuals in community-based organizations,
governmental organizations, as well as public and private companies.
The program participants will have the opportunity to get a “behind-the-scenes” look
at the services and activities we provide to the community.
Through this program, the Orange County Health Department would like
to promote a greater understanding of the individual departments and
services available. This type of public/private partnership will allow
the participant to appreciate the work the Orange County Health Department
performs.
