Would you like to make a difference in a child’s health,
education, and ability to learn? Are you an ARNP, RN, or LPN with a current and active Florida license?
Are you a retired nurse looking for volunteer opportunities that will allow you to utilize your skills?
If you answered
“yes” to any of these questions, the Volunteer School Nurse Program may be for you.
Volunteer school nurses can assist greatly by supplementing the existing services provided by the School Health Program at the Orange County Health Department.
Each day is a new experience and calls for a multitude of skills, including listening, caring, and understanding. In just a few hours a week you can provide a variety of services.
