CHAMPION CLUB
The Champion Club is a program designed to focus on high risk young minority males in Orange County High Schools and is designed to teach them the importance of practicing abstinence to prevent unwanted pregnancies and the transmission of STDs.
MAKING POSITIVE CHOICES
Making Positive Choices is an intervention program designed to help address information needs and enhance decision-making skills of college students regarding health risk behaviors.

Our Making Positive Choices program was recognized at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting, which is a premier platform to share successes and failures, discover exceptional best practices and learn from expert colleagues and the latest research in the field of public health.
FACILITATING HEALTHY CHOICES
Provides family planning, teen pregnancy prevention and HIV/STD education, counseling, breast health education and referral services to diverse populations of Orange County.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our internship program formally integrates students’ academic studies with work experience in employer organizations. Benefits of interning at the Orange County Health Department include providing work experience in a field of interest, creating a springboard from college life to career life and providing real life experience with a short term commitment.

BLACK WOMEN’S HEALTH PROJECT
The Black Women’s Health Project is designed to raise awareness of health disparities among women of African decent in Orange County.
FACTS PHASE II
The Facilitating Access to Services Phase II (FACTS) program seeks to increase the capacity of eight community based minority-serving organizations to deliver effective and durable HIV/AIDS-related prevention and care services in the Orlando Metropolitan Statistical Area (Orange, Lake, Osceola and Seminole counties).

HISPANIC HEALTH PROJECTS
The purpose of the Hispanic Health Projects is to empower Hispanics to take better care of their health through education, screenings and access to information.

RESEARCH AND EVALUATION PROGRAM
